I ran into Ormonte, 20, on the Bethany College campus in Lindsborg, Kansas, just as the school's athletes were returning for the year. He is a sophomore basketball player and exercise science major from South Carolina. He said he was happy to be back on campus to see friends and get a break from being back home. (Note, Ormonte was pretty serious at first, but then a friend started making fun of him for being photographed and he was entirely transformed by a full-body laugh.) He did admit to being worried about everyone converging from all over onto a small campus in a small town, but for now—having been back just one day—he was pretty glad to see his friends. Even if those friends make fun of him.
